Every writer dreams their books will bring them immortality - unfortunately most books die well before their creator. Lady Dorothy Mills (1889-1959), author of fifteen books, outlived her work by three decades. Thirty years after she died I discovered a tiny paragraph about her in an obscure magazine and I have been trying to ressurect her ever since.
